Use & Care
- Before first use, wash in hot, soapy water and dry promptly. For best results,
hand-washing is recommended. - Do not heat cookware when it is empty. Be sure to keep your pots from boiling dry.
- COOL KITCHEN® cookware is designed for optimum heat distribution. Only medium
to low heat settings are necessary for most cooking applications. However, these pans
are equally suitable for high-temperature cooking methods, such as searing and browning. - When cooking, it is best to use only wooden, heat-resistant nylon or silicone tools to avoid scratching your cookware. This is especially recommended for all Green Cuisine™ products.
- Salt can cause white spots or pits to form on stainless steel, and these are not removable. In order to avoid this, add salt after water has come to a full boil.
- Always allow cookware to cool before washing. Do not immerse hot cookware in cold water.
- It is strongly inadvisable to leave any stainless steel cookware or kitchen tools in the sink immersed in water for a long period of time.
- To restore your stainless steel cookware, ask your retailer about COOL KITCHEN® Ultra Stainless Steel & Porcelain Cleaner or Josef Strauss® Mighty Cleaner™.
